Tell us a fun fact about you I love plants so much. I've got a great collection of them at home and I care for them as if they were my children. They have names and I do talk to them like a crazy old lady.

How did you get into illustration? I've done a year of formation in Illustration in Paris which was the best of my study years. I studied graphic design for 4 years before that. But really what gets me into Illustration is the peace that drawing brought to me and the strong feeling that I wanted to do this for the rest of my life.

Who or what inspires you the most? Artists like Tomi Ungerer, Quentin Blake, Olimpia Zagnoli, Henri Matisse, Picasso... there is so many but I'm drawn to bold and colorful work.

What does a typical day look like for you? I'm waking up very early as I love to enjoy a quiet morning routine before heading to work. I'm doing a bit of yoga and having a big breakfast, riding to my studio or getting my desk home set up. Then I'm doing all the admin, replying to emails, tedious tasks for half the day and trying to keep time off screen to do drawings and creative things for the rest of the day.

What do you do when you have a creative block? When I've got a creative block I need to get away from my desk and do something completely different to get past the frustration. I usually go for a walk or bake a cake.

Top three clients you've worked with? Monocle Magazine, Nice and Serious and Studio Lovelock.

What tools (digital or not!) do you use to create your work? Pencils, colored pencils, a ruler (to do the straight lines from my drawings), a scanner and a graphic tablet.

What's your favourite resource for inspiration? Museums, trips and books.

Do you have any tips for artists thinking of doing freelance? Do it! It is a constant struggle but a struggle that is totally worth it! And to take a studio space out of your home. It is the best thing you can do for your mental health and it brings so much more.

What would your dream project be? It would be something about sustainability. I really care about the environment and would be happy if my skills could contribute to make a difference in this matter.

How can fans keep up-to-date with your work? Instagram
